This webpage is dedicated to the history and heritage of Juan Garza Vidaurri. A handsome man, husband, father, Texas Deputy Sheriff, Bounty Hunter and adventurer. He was my Great Grandfather and until recently, I knew little about him. But recently, 2008, I was introduced to a second cousin and also a great grandson of Juan Garza Vidaurri, Jesus Rubio, who spent as many years researching and investigating the heritage of our common ancestor as I spent on geneology all together. Mr. Rubio has documented much about Juan Garza and provided the photos that appear in the header and elsewhere on this site. I will add what I know of Aurora Saenz Gonzalez, pictured above and Juan's second wife. There are links to webpages for each of Juan Garza Vidaurri's children listed here to the left. On the top left we have a link to Juan Garza Vidaurri's page which will contain his biography and more photos. Below his name are the names of his wives. Our understanding is that he had three wives but the name of his first wife is still a mystery. A separate page for each of his wives and their children will be provided also. To the left are all the known children of Juan from oldest to youngest.
